Besides, not many Canberra fans care or remember that Steve jackson left Canberra afterhte 1989 Grand Final, only that he scored that wonderful Try. Williams - please do the same, seeing you are going to leave anyway!!!

If he does that, I'll forgive management.

Until next season.

not that many Canberra fans would have even known Steve Jackson until he scored that try. ;-)

Steve played State of Origin for Queensland after that Grand Final..and is now part of Rugby League folklore.
I bet if you ask Blocker Roach or Warren Ryan if they remember Jacko they'll let you know.

a rebound reaction to losing williams, seems like hagan has opened the purse in case we lose another one.all too ucking late hagan.
cant see the forest for the trees.

that's ridiculous, the players that have signed a very talented players in their own right and I'd go as far as saying both Robo and Baumann have been more consistant than Williams has been all year, their work rate is far superior.

despite what you hear..there are other players in this club other than Williams.

happy, happy, joy, joy. 2 questions though, how long have they signed for? and Will they prove themselves to be as good as williams?

Williams has played two good games of NRL on the wing. They are not the same type of player and we need Baumann otherwise based on the Canberra NYC game KK will have no one to pass to.

Tim Robinson is signed for the 2009 & 2010 seasons and Dave Baumann has been signed for the 2009 season.

I thought Oake was under contract, but either way Baumann and Robinson play a similar role to Oake and Chad Robinson.

how similiar in playing styles is Tim to his older brother?
I see him playing a bit of front-row for the 20's... is he a big lad?

He's fairly tall and big, about 105kg. Similar height to his brother, if not maybe a bit taller.

He's pretty strong when he takes it up.

Promising player, I think was in the Australian Schoolboys a few years back.

yeah, I rate Tim very highly as a footballer a real potential hardman in the Peter Johnston mould.

I would not of known we had other young talent from yours and others early reaction to TW leaving, glad common sense has prevailed.

He also has a brain and knows that offloads and passing is a skill a front rower needs to have. He may not always pass it but at least he looks.
