Lol at the haters. Foran is an asset. It's unfortunate he's gone through a rough patch of late. He's only f*^king human. Cut him some slack. He started playing good footy after a slow start. Now this. It's painful being a parra fan of late, but kicking a guy while he's down is ridiculous. Some need to pull their heads out of their arses.

Finally someone with some sense, he is worth every cent and he will come good.

Cannot believe how people have turned on him in such a short space of time, get a grip.:crazy:

Had we won yesterday, he would of been the Messiah.

As much as I love reading the insight and criticism of every poster here,I'll trust BA's judgement of players.

Exactly, his up there with one of the players you would want to build your team around.

Yea he had a slow start, yea he has some issues but he will come good, his a winner, his a great team man, the players love him and his a leader.

I agree BA knows what his doing hence why he practically moved heaven and earth to bring him here, we are a much better proposition with our current squad and Foran in then we have been the past 5-7 years.

Just as long as the damage of all this other shit doesn't affect our squad to much, BA and Foran leading us into the future is something I take great hope from.

Yeah maybe overpaid a bit but that's what we had to pay. The only other halves that wouldn't have been destroyed and crucified at the 1st sign of anything bad by the great Parra support would be Cronk & Thurston. DCE would be in foetal position crying himself to sleep if he'd come here. Heck Foran probably hadn't so much as taken a panadol and picked a $2 sweep in Melbourne Cup before being supported by Parra fans.

Even after getting injured and targetted in defence the rest of the game, he made more metres than all bar 2 of our forwards, so not exactly like it was his fault we lost last night

It kinda depends, They've been good in different ways.

1.2 might have been high, but we were at that point where we weren't going to attract a quality half for less than that.

We haven't got any where near value for money from the Foran signing. There were plenty of us who believed the 7 figure price tag was way too much when it happened last year.

If we hadn't been over the cap and if he and his wife hadn't split up and if we were currently running equal 3rd with 16 points, would his price tag be an issue for you?

And if he had a good long kicking game and if he didn't have prescription drug issues and and if we had got him for 800k, then no, his price tag wouldn't have been an issue.

But that is a f**k load of 'ifs'. And I prefer to live in reality where the 'ifs' don't mean a thing.

Good point, even after the Manly win I don't think people were complaining.

Shit has happened most out of his or the coaches control, I mean last night we were flat as a biscuit against one of the top sides in the comp and we were still competitive for about 65mins. The side has improved out of site and I just think the off field shit has finally taken its toll. Losing Peats has been a massive loss as well IMO.

100% right. The way i see it if not for the merkin who leaked shit to the media for his own gratification, we'd be a contender with Peats in tow.

Water under the bridge now, but FMD the shit storm it has caused.

Meanwhile every other club is rorting the system and enjoying Eels sideshow. :roll:
