We deserve everything we get, it was obvious from the beginning that our management and board were doing dodgy dealings so we must be punished.

So as per comment from Emcee we are probably over the cap this year as TPA have been included. Potentially this gives cause for us having our points deducted and supported by the NRL's comment that we can pay for points once we are unde the cap.

What the club / lawyers really need to do is focus on building a good case for why we aren't over the cap for this year ( e.g. TPA shouldn't be included ). This may help in reducing the 12 point penalty.

Also given 28 point is the magical number then we would need to shed $570k worth of talent by the end of round 12 at the latest, and then win the last 14 games straight. Not impossible but near enough to it. Time to start preparing for next season.
And if what has been released by the NRL is proven to be true then everyone involved in the deceitful acts needs to be removed from the club. That included any board members, staff, coaches, players and managers.

A more sufficient penalty would of been 4 points, a fine and removal of all board members. The only thing the NRL has done now is punish the players coach and fans. There's no coming back from this in 2016. Our season is wiped out, unless we appeal.

Disagree. He said we had been over the cap 5 of the last 6 years so therefore they had to do something to stop the bullshit that the club is doing.
