Once they said it was a new rule, Furner can bitch all he likes, nothing to do with him

In fairness to the Raiders, if we were being run by the same board we were a month ago, instead of the NRL influenced appointment, then we wouldn't have got the dispensation for Foran's pay out. It is pretty dodgy to be honest and I'm not surprised other clubs are pretty shitty about.

It will be interesting to see once Max rides off into the sunset and a new faction (or an old one) is the new Leagues Club board instead whether we will still get plenty of favours.

Furner should be thankful we released paulo 6 months early for them. BA could of left him in wenty for the rest of the year if he wanted

Strides, it sounds like we got the $150K payout of this year's remaining salary exempted from the cap, owing to Foran's "behavioural issues".

Greenburg says clubs shouldn't be penalised for parting ways with players who would benefit from time away from the game, and Canberra seem upset by it... not sure why it concerns them? It's not like we've bolstered our squad and knocked them out of finals contention or anything.

They're probably unhappy because they've parted ways with players, with behavioural issues, and probably had to pay them some coin...it probably went against the salary cap.

This season? If not they should get over themselves...

No, from past seasons I'd imagine. We should be thankful that we have someone the NRL has influence over at this present time and want to help us out.

Because Foran goes off the deep end and doesn't want to play football anymore we should take a hit against our cap???

Don Furner can go and eat a bag of dicks.

So have we maybe front loaded corey? ... is that why he cost 50k less a season than was previously thought?

Just to be safe, I'd leave the words 'loaded' and 'Corey' out of the same sentence for the next few years.

The Raiders have had to get rid of Josh Dugan, Todd Carney and Blake Ferguson all because of behavioural issues.

...imagine the side they could have had !

Southern Tablelands and Riverina are great RL nurseries for bogans.
