Yeah, your godsent "PJ" will get injured in the first half and "YOU KNOW WHO" will take over the number 7. Then with Wagon in the centers your team will fall appart....

and where is dear old hindy? Hey, at least we have a team that has class, unlike your team which is full of injury prone tacklebags in the likes of Tahu and Riddel. Hindy and Wade are the only parra players i respect, the rest are (as i said earlier) pushovers!

1 - Hodgo <--NSW Fullback (to be again)
2 - Reick
3 - Whatuira <--International
4 - Elford
5 - Richards
6 - Marshall <--International (to be... we all know it)
7 - Prince <--QLD halfback
8 - Skandalis <---NSW this year
9 - Galea <---NSW this year
10 - Payten <---wants to make City/Country  ...... but seriously
11 - Laffranchi <---City/Country this year
12 - Harrison <---International
13 - McGann <---NSW/International

14 - Gibbs
15 - Meredith
16 - Halatau <---International
17 - Fitzhenry

Beat that parra-doesn't-matta

(oy, im just stiring you buddy! )

PARRAMATTA will unleash seven new signings in its first rugby league trial match against the Sharks in Lismore on February 5.
Parramatta: Wade McKinnon, Ash Graham, Luke Burt, Daniel Wagon, Eric Grothe, John Morris, PJ Marsh, Adam Peek, Mark Riddell, Aaron Cannings, Nathan Cayless, Josh Cordoba, Dean Widders. Inter: Tim Smith, Timana Tahu, Ian Henderson, Paul Stringer, Henry Perenara, Michael Vella, Glenn Morrison.
Five of the seven new signings are named on the bench, interesting. I know it's early days but I wonder how they feel about that? Especially Tahu and Morrison......

Morrison won't want to play the trials anyway, they get no T.V coverage so the SOO selectors won't see him

Nice mate.

i wonder who will be laughing when he gets selected ... not you!

I'd be laughing if I was a Queenslander.

I'm a Qeenslander and I would not be laghing :p.

I'm sorry to say to you Tigers fans.. Even being as impartial as possible, I cannot see how the Tigers could match this Eels side.

Tigers -------------------------- Eels (most likely lineup)

6 - Marshall --------------------- 6. Morris
7 - Prince ----------------------- 7. Marsh (Origin)
8 - Skandalis ------------------- 8. Cannings
9 - Galea ----------------------- 9. Riddell
10 - Payten -------------------- 10. Cayless (NZ)
11 - Laffranchi ----------------- 11. Robinson
12 - Harrison ------------------ 12. Hindmarsh (Origin & Aussie)
13 - McGann ------------------- 13. Morrison (Origin)

Tell you what, if the eels don't make the 8 this year, Brian Smith will get castrated.

The line up for that job will be somewhat long. He SHOULD make the eight with the squad he has even allowing for injuries.....

Well I know this may not please a lot of fans for Parra, but i'm one for looking to the future, I believe your halves should be:

6. M. Perenara
7. T. Smith
9. Riddell
14. PJ Marsh

but thats just me.

Yeah go parra! I remember last year at leichhardt its was Tigers 33 Parra 6 (Covell hatrick, marshall destroying parramatta).. Then at Parra stadium Tigers 18 - Eels 2  not to mention parramatta dogging a trial match this year
We pretty much own parramatta right now :D Bring on round 1/

Blake Green might have something to say about all that though Perenara looks impressive. 2006 into 2007 its a likely scenario that should Green, Smith and Perenara stay at the club they will be the core of the halves.

For 2005 - the three of them still need some time especially in a high pressure role - and at Parramatta nothing is more high pressure than the halves positions.

At the beginning of EVERY SEASON, MOST of you Tigers Fans start out the same way.. Full of Hope and Big statements (albeit delusional).

Most teams owned Parra in 2004!!! And that is fact. So Tigers fans shouldn't try to make themselves feel special as in reality it wasn't much of an achievement. Afterall, Parra were owned by a Premier League Dragons side  If you're happy to, as you say "own" a team that finished at the wrong end of the comp, then you better start preparing your early end of season trip NOW!!!

2005 will be totally different. I'm not going to make brash predictions, but I will say that the Eels won't be as easily controlled this year, as they were in 2004!! Parramatta have made noticeable improvements with proven quality players, not HAS-BEENS as was the case in previous years and most people despite their Bias would agree!! Only time will tell.

As for the Eels "allegedly" dogging the Trial match, Tigers fans need to stop and think before making comments!!! The Eels AND Tigers MUTUALLY agreed that it was not appropriate to Trial against each other in the Last Trial match which was only weeks prior to the First Round where they are scheduled to meet - AND THAT IS .!
