Degree of difficulty 9.9 with a pike.....gotta take my hat off to you on your research, Eela! Brett Garnon, a double stint? Howe about Patterson, Buggo, Johnno and Atco?

The only name I think I could add would be Ken Thornett, who had a pommy stint in the middle of his reign.

ok!! lets see

1] Brett Garnon left in 82 signed again in 88 after spending 6 years in the country.

2] Mick Patterson probably the only player in living history to have broken both collerbones in the one tackle. left the club in 1980 to spend a couple of good years at Souths before we signed him up again in 83. He finished his career at Illawarra after that.

3] I can understand you questioning me about Geoff Bugden however I can reveal that Bugs actually retired in 84 due to a chest injury but signed again in 85 where he spent the next 4 seasons with us.

4] Peter Johnston left us in 1991 to join Souths [I can tell you I was devastated after that] he was then signed again in 1996 where he spent 2 seasons before he joined South African super 12 club the Sharks.

5] Graeme Atkins left at the end of 82 to join the Roosters where he spent
2 seasons before he signed with us again in 85.
