aaahhh!! wrong Brad Williams, very Witty though.

Brad Williams and Will Harris were at Parra at a very unfortunate time as they both had Eric snr, Neil Hunt and David Liddiard in front of them. so maybe I'm being a bit to tough on them.

Do you remember what Brad Williams nickname was??

I do, and it was extremely appropriate. ;-)

David Bayssari
Who ???
Back in 1988, Bayssari was part of the glorious Parramatta Marist team that took out the Commonwealth Bank Cup. Bayssari was the Player of the Year ( same award won by Benny Elias, Peter Sterling, Paul Sironen).
Anyway, Bayssari goes straight from schoolboy into the Parramatta Presidents Cup team that wins the premiership that year.
Then did bugger all, went off to the Tigers (great career move - not!!) and has never been heard of ever since.

Other players in the 1998 Commonwealth Bank Cup included Brad Fittler, Ben Alexander, Tim Brasher, Jason Taylor.

Adam Rittson springs to mind, but then again he has a pretty good reason.

For Adam Ritson to be unable to realise his undoubted potential was terrible. What a forward pack we would have right now with him in our front row with K-Lo and Hindy.

What about Paul Mares?

I thought he was a real good player until he was injured badly (I think both knees went out on him). He was a prop who was reasonably Quick, Big and used to put up bombs and then chase them with heaps of enthusiasm.

Others I think that should get a mention are Jamie Mahon, Scott Ella and Dallas Weston

Adam Dykes could go on that list if he doesn't do something this year.
 Very good el Duque!

I'd throw in Jason Bell. The times I spent watching Jason Bell and Greg Drake under-perform in First Grade took years off my life, I reckon.

Cossatto went on to play really well for the Pies the year after he almost swallowed his tongue on the field. He had two good years at the pies (scored 8 tries on the wing in his second year), before having one last year at the rooters.

I have his Parramatta jacket at home. It would have to be worth twice as much as that record breaking Jason Taylor sock which HJ has.... ;-) :D

Jason Bell helped our Premmy League to a GF win. Thats not a bad effort.

If I remmember that GF. We had a rediculous number of players unavailable, becuse they had played NRL within so many weeks of the Grand Final. It was basically a Flegg team and they won by a very big margin.

What about that little muffet that we signed from the country when he was still in his dipers a few years back?! He never even made 1st division!

True! And that form in Premier League was part of his definite "promise" as a player...

Hence my consideration of Bell for this side of players that "promised so much but delivered little" (in terms of a First Grade career)?

P.S. Twizzle, love the sig! Long live the Zepplin...
