surely if reddy was fit he should walk into the side loko also looked pretty impressive except for the try he should've scored i like his confidence though thinks he can run through anyone :)

Can only assume Reddy is seen as not match fit yet, which after so long out is understandable IMHO.

Walker's work rate was far too low, not surprised to see him get dropped.

Don't think he has been dropped as such, more a case of still being hampered by his toe injury (which may also explain the low work rate.)

He definitely wasn't running freely on Sat.

Well he is fit to play for Wenty. Regardless after not being able to train all summer, and being forced to sit out the trials, playing a game for Wenty only made sense. It's a LOT easier than just making your comeback through first grade.

What's doing with Ben Smith?
Named on the bench 2 weeks in a row and didn't play much v the Warriors.

It was the flow of the game... due to the fact we dominated possession our starting backrowers were able to stay fresh and didn't need replacing until the second half.

After watching Wenty on the weekend, the selection of Whatuira is a joke. That is all.

I'd say whatuira is there purely for defence I remember he was a very good defender for penrith and wests

Interesting... I thought there were some poor reports of Whatuira's game with Wenty last weekend?

Ben Smith is a very versatile player to have on the bench, and could come in for a backline injury if needed during the game. Sure, he could do that swap from the starting side too, but I think it's ok for the larger framed guys to take some of the initial heat while Ben stays fresh to add to the defence when he comes on.
