I agree 100%. But just remember that Paul had been going through some tough personal demons, and MAYBE (I can't say for sure as I don't know the guy) he is still not 100% over them? Although I seriously doubt Kearney would select him if he was still struggling.

Prior to last weekend Whatuira had played one game since he left the UK. Had he played more trials he would've had more match fitness and Kearney probably would've included him for round 1.

As for Rory Brien, he might be fast but he doesn't seem explosive enough for centre. Not in first grade anyway.

maybe due to reddy's off season being injuried for most of it SK wanted to give him another week at wenty to get match fit, fats has played 2 games now. Reddy only 1.
