Wow. Who was that team in Blue & Gold? I like the way they play.

I know one game doesn’t make for conclusive proof and I also know the Kearney apologists will be out in force here but it was a different team out there to what we have seen all year. Yes, the passion and motivation was there but it was more than that. There were players in motion, decoy runners, deep backline movements, offloads and, most of all, each player knew their role – in attack AND defence. In short, they looked “well coached”. Anyway, that’s the way I saw it.

Great win by the boys and congratulations to Brad Arthur.

WOE

They have looked good for 2 weeks now. I'm pretty sure Arthur was also coaching them 2 weeks ago especially when Kearney resigned mid week. They were deeper in attack and more desperate in defence. Reni even said in his man of the match speech on Fox that Arthur is more about man management. Something obviously lacking in Kearney.

Just back from the game, how good did we play???? We defended well early and then put them to the torch late in the first half. Some soft penalties early the 2nd half but we finished not sure of the stats but they seemed to have a heap of ball that 2nd half. Reni was simply amazing, Chrissy and Hindy were also great and Paulo keeps getting better and better.

How great is it to finally win back to back games? I can't remember waiting that long between back to back wins before.

Don't want to see Matt Keating in the number 9 ever again. An average player like Smith has shown him up.

Gret win tonight, only if.....

Keating is good defensively but Smith offers so much more than him in attack. Has Keating ever set a long range try up like Smith did tonight???

Any chance Hindy being talked into one more year??? I mean we could offer him the long serving discount and not chew up any cap.

I've said it once and I'll say it again in over 100 first grade games Matt Keating has never ever won a man of the match award even though he touches the ball more times than anyone on the field.

he also touches it for longer than anyone on the field because it takes him forever to pass the bloody thing

What did I tell you guys, Broncos are toast for 2012.

Just shows how shit Kearney really was when you guys can play like that.

Well what a win.

Not only to beat Brisbane up there but also put 40 points on them. Its amazing how well they play under Brad Arthur. They showed him at halftime he looked like he was revving the boys up.

We played like that against the Tigers for 10 minutes and it amazes me that its taking us this long to play consistent football and have our forwards hit it up real hard and the backrowers offloading a lot. And the support play is brilliant, everytime someone made a break there was always someone there backing up.

Gotta give a wrap to Sandow he played his style of play and didnt panic at times and took the line on whenever it was possible. Well played mate.

Paulo and Maitua are dangerous when they break the line and offload. How good was Maitua tonight, best game he's played for Parra.

Also the future is looking good with Sio, Blair, Matt Ryan and Nathan Smith.

I hope Ricky was impressed with that tonight.

Great win tonight ....some of those backline moves reminded me of the sweeping parra backline of the 80's .....the spoon may just be offloaded by round 26 with a bit of luck .....
