The segregation of fans at the Eelsv Dogs semi-final was probably the best crowd I have ever been involved in. Sure there were Dogs and Eels fans littered through each section but overall that was fantastic.

i don't think i'm being hypocritical, i'm not saying the blue and gold army is bigger than the Cove as some of the Dragon Army members were claiming in other threads.

like i stated the other day that the Cove in my opinion is the best supporter group of any code in this country.

i hope the blue and gold army could get to that stage in the years to come.

i'm merely stating that on the 3 occassions that i attended Parra v Saints games in 2009 and come to think of it any year before 2009, i didn't hear anything coming from the dragon army.

The cronulla sharks group( i don't know what they call themselves) are better than the Dragons Army. At least they keep chanting even when their team is getting beat week after week.

i heard nothing from the dragon army in that semi last year.

i hope James Morrison is on the trumpet, i hear he is a parra fan from way back.

I dont think there has ever been a club footy game in League like it, I was proud to be there for that, it was violent but it was tribal at its very best.....great advert for super league mk2

Be it the Kennel, the Burrow, Parra Army whatever. That sh*t is good for the game. I hate the Dogs, but I love when we play them because it is the pinnacle in atmosphere.

Like ol mate Dick Gay said, the segregation might seem harsh but in terms of generating masses of support, it is a winner.

Simplicity works better. A book of psalms might be hard to get cracking on a big Fri night. At the end of the day, the Northern should rock tomorrow.

They go very quiet, the 5 or 6 of them when they are losing.

For a first hit out I was really happy with what The Swarm achieved so far. Paul Osborne and the Stadium management came to the party and will be working with us into the future. The leagues club had song sheets on the front desk and Peter Wynn was putting them into the bags of anyone who bought Parra gear. Channel 9 had us on the news and heaps of people joined in at the Leagues club and at the ground.
We will have a new songsheet for next week so if you want to join us we will be front and centre at the Northern End again this Sunday. Even if your seated elsewhere your welcome to join us for the Toyota Cup.
Our goal is to have the best supporters group in the NRL. With your help we can make that happen.

Seriously, goodluck with getting your group started but to be so cocky to say that other sides have nothing is just plain stupid.

The dogs/dragons/rabbits etc. have been doing it for a while and i dont know about the others but the bulldog army is growing. The kennel (bulldog army) membership went from about 120 last year to about 350 so far this and our away game presence has always been top notch.

If you want to see 2 supporter groups going at it head down to the gong this Friday, if the atmosphere is anything like Kogarah last year, it is going to be intense.
