Not sure about any of you but Saturday night against the Bulldogs is going to be a cracker.
We have a team getting better and better as the weeks go by and they are now learning how to win.
They will be very confident against a cocky Bulldogs outfit, could be the upset of the year coming up.

GO PARRA!

watched the game tonight and thought it was a carbon copy of the sharks v manly game.
The eels were by far the better team and the only thing keeping the storm in the game was poor refereeing!!!

seems to me that those teams expected to win get 'better' treatment then those not so!!

The score should have been 24-6 at one stage! Under the new rule the inu try is NOt a double movement because his body ends up over the line anyways. Under the old rule its a classic double movement!

And how is it that a player going for the high ball and colliding with another player doing the same who gets hurt.....is penalised???? INSANE!!

Great win Parra and so pleased to see the team that deserved the win hung on to keep it!!!!

The eels have played well and shown glimpses of their ability in every game but lately they are doing it for extended periods...its good to watch!

And dont worry I am confident sticky is staying with us!

Cheers.

Was at the game, and thought the atmosphere was terrific for a sub 11k crowd (looked like there were more). Storm had so much ball in the 2nd half, but couldnt score on a lot of occassions when given repeat sets of 6. Our defence was damm good.

Hindy after the game "it feels like im retiring" lol

I was so impressed with the pride and passion from the boys tonight, I especially loved the Hayne v Slater, I dont think I have seen Jarryd so hyped for a match, it was bloody brilliant. The atmosphere at the game was electric for a crowd of 10,000. Well done boys , and well done Hindy on 250 games for the mighty Parramatta Eels.:thumb:clap:

First of all - it was a great win. We are showing glimpse what we can achieve next season. Our goal line defence has improved greatly. Bring in Sharp next season, and we will be awesome.
couple of things -
Referring sucked big time. I can never understand what NRL suck up to the Melbourne. Some of decision was horrendous. How come day in and day out we have absolute garbage referring. Inu' s try was a legit try. He was over the line when he planted the ball. Then again we have suckers in the video refree. Other thing I noticed was, Storm was all over the player playing the ball. They should have been penalised for slow playing the ball.
A bit about commentators - Laurie should be sacked from the coaching as well Junior. They keep on whinging about Cameroon smith absence. They should get on with the game. Surprisingly, we got a good wrap from Gary Freeman, that was unusual.
But people, bow down to HAYNE.....can't wait for the next season.

Can someone tell me whether they also saw an odd call from the ref in the 2nd half when a grubber was put through by cronk on the 5th tackle close to our line.It appeared to propel off mortimers leg up into his arms in one motion and he strangely called knock on.No replay was shown and i'm baffled

Couldn't believe that call  Hayne gave the ref a gobful and then Hindy didn't miss the blind Merkin either

Pretty sure it was a for a tackle in mid-air! Even though he was going for the ball, is it his fault that the other player jumped into him? No , I didnt think so !
