Yeah it does but does that justify the extra time allocated to kicking goals in a trial match?

You can sort out who's the best goal kicker at training. If a bloke is going to be that much worse under match conditions I'd say he's probably going to be identified as a liability in general play anyway.

I think they would have played if the NSW Cup trial went the full 80 minutes. This way some of the guys from Wenty can get more of a run in the NRL trial.

Just a guess BTW. They might just both be injured.
