Fulton was pretty damn awesome in defence.

Ryan did well at Fullback. Humble was ok, best 7 we've had so far this year. I'd like to see him at 7 with Farah in the side though.

Not sold on Reddy. I don't know that he's all that different or better than Ayshford, even with Aysford out of form, there's not much between the two.

We need to get Moors into the 17 permanently. Groat needs a week off and then 2-3 weeks in NSW Cup.

Also, I saw that the week before last, Chisholm won the game for Balmain in NSW Cup. Did anyone here see how he went last weekend?

Ryan was fine at the back - though I think he could have done better for that last try. Ever so slightly out of position.

I thought this as well. Who knows but maybe if Moltzen was there he wraps that up.

Harsh to dig a guy playing out of his skin otherwise, and out of position, but fine margins and all that.

Any word on Moltzen btw? Came off with what looked like a hip injury in the 2nd half.

Even as a Manly fan I thought Dean Richie's story about Tigers midfield defence in the Tele today was stupid. Does this mean every team that lost at the w-end are "Turnstiles"?
Like Manly, you mob have had a lot of injury, It's a long season, I think the Tigers will be there when the whips are cracking.

Re Fulton, see Gary Jack in the Tele this morning asking where the reserve grade hooker is.

Agree 100% with that. Sheens has his 18 or 19 players and that's it.

Spot on. We do have a reserve grade hooker but he has not been given a go.

Even in the trials Pat Politoni only played about 10 minutes all up, even Nathan f**king Waters was played at dummy half ahead of him.

Sheens had the perfect opportunity with Robbie Farah out of the first trial to give him 80 minutes but no, he has to go and throw Fulton into dummy half. Always playing players out of position. Nothing ever changes.

Totally agree,it must be frustrating for these players such as Politoni to see their position filled by other players who are not specialist, you would have to wonder if there was a future at this club for you.Sheens should be taking some responsibility, from the oppositions point of view( Fulton at hooker,no threat there!
Politoni,????)

Jacks comment were not so much a go at Sheens about Politini but about how he thought Rhys should have played bench hooker last season

gronkathon, bench hooker for who, Balmain in the NSW Cup?

I thought he was a 5/8, certainly Jack isn't that stupid to think his son could go from Wenty as a 5/8 to Balmain Ryde as a 5/8 and to be a bench warmer for the 1st grade team as a hooker
