At least the child was a witness. How's this one then. Wife gets assaulted by husband. Wife flees house with child and goes to cop shop fifty kms across town as husband is a cop near matrimonal home. Wife seeks restaining order on husband. Wife informed by cop that she must finalise process at local police station. Wife upset by this but goes to cop shop anyway. Once at cop shop she is told by head cop that she shouldnt seek order as it will prevent husband from doing his job. Wife demands order. Head cop goes ahead but still tries to talk her out of it. Husband attends police station says he's been assulted by wife. Husband has black eye and scratches, wife did not assault husband, never had. Wife told that husband is taking out order against her. Husband then seeks custody of child. Has fellow cops lie in court about wife. Wife loses child to husband. Wife left with legal bills. Wife innocent of all accusations made against her. Now you tell me that that's not an act of revenge and of the husband trying to make the wife look guilty of things she never did.
All I am trying to say is that not all accusations are true, sometimes even the innocent get punished for things they never did. Even with DNA evidence can we be sure that a consensual act never took place?
