The 3P rebels claimed Fitzgerald failed to pass on a resolution to members that would have allowed that clause in the club's constitution to be changed at the leagues club's annual general meeting next week.

The resolution was allegedly lodged with the Parramatta chief executive the required 21 days before the AGM was to be held

"It was a very poorly worded resolution that was sent to me," Fitzgerald said.

Why wasnt it passed on if it had to be?

"After putting the club through what we just did to get to an election, ...............................," 3P spokesperson Terry Leabeater said.
"We're going to have to drag the club through s--t again .........
Elections are scheduled, they didn't need to do anything other then nominate in the election to "get an election".

And you don't need to drag the club down, just put the truth forward and don't get involved in the rest of the mud slinging- that goes for both sides.

DF obviously took it upon himself to judge the wording incorrect. Just like the pics of sassen & saad were omited due the the claims they were not of suitable resolution for the printed election material, and told hrs before going print btw

It's either that Fitzy is an world class expert at shenanigans or there is a lot about 3P that looks very naive, disorganized and unprofessional.

I didn't see any where in the article that mention "it was worded by a Lawyer".

Courts are there to judge on different interpretations of the law, if they wont to go down that path.

and we will spend more on lawyers than players if that happens. just wait for the next opportunity and get on with making the changes they promised. They still have a majority.

I thought it was pretty obvious he mentioned legal advise in the article, but apparently not when you are only looking through one eye.

lol..for all we know it could of been a spelling mistake and lawyer is sponging it for what it's worth.

not the first time either. one thing that irked me was whenever something went amiss - such as Terry's membership or saad and sassen's photo's - it was the fault of Fitzy but no proof was provided. Atleast this time fitzy has acknowledged getting it.

It was, but even if it wasnt, they should have put it through and let people decide, and if it was foolishly written you think DF wouldn't have run with "LOOK HOW STUPID THEY ARE, THEY CANT EVEN WORD THE RESOLUTION"?
C'mon.

Looks like 3P haven't broken their habit yet of starting each day with a phone call to the papers sprouting about the latest Fitzy conspiracy.

When they were doing it before the election it could be put down to legitimate campaigning. Doing it after they have won the election really just makes them look sad, childish and unprofessional.

At the moment 3p look a bit like "a mule with a spinning wheel...nobody knows how he got it and danged if he knows how to us it!"

Time for 3P to get the leagues club business out of the papers and for them to use their majority to start delivering on their promises and fixing up the leagues club and the team!

Bit hard when they haven't officially taken power yet

Much like the newspaper articles got a lot of voters out to the election, the media coverage of this issue will get a lot of pro 3P supporters to the AGM to vote should this motion make it to a vote, which is exactly what 3P would want from the coverage.

I have the feeling that in six months when they are in complete control of the club and have no reason to rally the people we won't be hearing a peep from our the Telegraph about the club.
