Moving back to elliott. All reports from training and people who have spoken to players point to a strong season ahead. Looking forward to following a young player William Bearle younger brother to rugbys next big thing. In harold mathews squad next year. Will watch with interest

William Beale is a halfback, and will still be eligible to play harold matthews in 2008.

While it's early days the feedback on Matt Elliot thus far is very, very positive.

The players have been pleasantly surprised and have embraced the change and fresh ideas.

I am optimistic the Panthers will win a Premiership during Matt Elliot reign. I'm not sure that it will be in 2007 but certainly we will be very competitive in 2008/2009.

I have been hearing some interesting things through the grapevine:

1. Wesser, 2. Gordon, 3. Jennings, 4. Daniella/Smith, 5. Rooney, 6. Lewis, 7. Gower
8. Cross, 9. Priddis, 10. Clinton, 11. Waterhouse, 12. Puletua, 13. Rodney
14. F. Puletua, 15. Moors, 16. Pritchard, 17. Aiton, 18. PeeWee Moke

could be our regulation lineup next year...i wouldn't be upset with that.

It will be interesting to hear what combinations will take the field at the trials and how they went.

Hopefully we get some feedback from those fans who attend them.

From the preseason training it is interesting to learn (of the recognised players)

Wesser is the strongest player in the club pound for pound.

Rooney is the fittest player in the endurance tests.

Early insider tip for 2007 lineup.

Waterhouse to play predeominately in the front row.

LOL! Has Fibro hijacked Kilkenny's computer? :D

I hope House has beefed it up.

Wow, hopefully the Camel can make up for a dissapointing 2006. Nothing better than the sight of the Camel tip toeing down the side line whilst palming a couple off.

Cross, T Puletua, Waterhouse and Pritchard should be told that they are all to play as props bringing the ball out of our half on the first few tackles.

When we get on a roll after 3 huge hitups whoever is in the right place should form up out wide to cause some havoc.

All 4 guys have started at prop in their careers and need to do much better going forward when playing as second rowers.

In 2003 our pack was strong enough to have four front row style hitups a set from four different players. We need this again in 2007 to wear down the opposition.

Rodney should be at lock and he is no slouch either when running forward.

If I had suggested playing second rowers on the wing/centre then perhaps you could have concluded Fibro had hacked into my computer. Fibro has form for suggesting outrageous positional changes? Waterhouse in the front row is not as silly as it sounds.

True, true, true but it wasn't really the suggestion I meant, more the style and some words in your posts such as "pound for pound" and "insider tip" that reminded me of the old timer. ;-)

I'm admitting the forum has been missing his input and it's good to see you back posting, it's enjoyable to read.

Back to Waterhouse, personally I don't care where he plays, he gives 100% and more everytime he takes the field, he is a bonus to have anywhere. I'm unashamedly a House fan! :D

Gave Fibroman a ring this evening and all is well.

Like all of us he is looking forward to the new season and I'm sure it wont be long before Fibroman is back bigger and better than ever on League Unlimited.

I agree with you there 100% PK. Waterhouse is a bloody champion and a really nice guy when my partners young bloke won their under 8's game at blacktown workers Trent was sitting on the logs watching the games and the young bloke got a trophy for man of the match and we walked up to trent said hi to him and had a yarn and he signed the bottom of the trophy and the young bloke has kinda worshipped him since....:)...was a top day ....:)

Good to hear Kilkenny.

Panthagrey, I love reading posts like that. So far I've never known Trent to be any different.
