The word doing the rounds on the other forum, Tom Shines see the big Pom as a frontrower in a year or so. What is it with Sheens, why cant a backrower play in the back row and a no9 play no9 and of course a no17 just play some football. The guys has lost his marbles big time

I heard Ellis interviewed on Talkin Sport and it was mentioned but he just laughed it off.
First time I have heard him interviewed ( apart from after match stuff) and he seems like a really genuine bloke, no big headedness of bullsh*t about his character.
Anyone know who was responsible for bringing him to the club? I had never heard of him before he came.

In regard to Ellis playing front row, it was aparently a joke that was had when talkin sport were speaking with Tim Shines. At the end of the interveiw with Grameme Hughs, Hughs said to Ellis that it was only a joke about playing front row.....Lets hope so.

I suppose Ellis does have the size for it, but his speed and offloading would in essence be wasted in the front row. Can't we be happy with Keef + Gibbs + Fifita + Payten/Anyone else there.

Ellis will never be playing prop. Stupidest concept ever.

I take it you don't pay attention to international rugby league.

He had played near on 20 test matches for Great Britain and England, including the recent World Cup in 2008.

Gareth has been on Talkin sport a couple of times. They can understand him so they get him to come back, some of those northerners are impossible to understand, you pick up about every 5th word sometimes.
