It would be astonishing if they were THAT stupid to not put some sort of clause in the extension saying we could pull the pin if we didn't make the finals in 2010. Braindead stuff. Not just this decision either, there's a long sad string of them.
Did anyone see the cumulative table someone made up over on PI of points in the last decade. Penrith ran 3rd last above the Cowboys and Tigers. One of the admins just ripped into it but it just shows how consistently rubbish we've been over the past decade and admin has to answer for that eventually.

Yep, I've seen that table. It illustrated our performance over the last decade perfectly.

Yet Steve Tidwell absolutely slammed the OP and the MOD+friends Goon squad all got stuck in. IMO those guys are the wankiest, gutless and most idiotic supporters ever.

I agree wholeheartedly with both of you.

]I read this morning where Penrith are close to signing George Ndaira [/B](another reject from Newcastle) who is currently playing for Kurri in the local Newcastle competition. BTW Blair has re-signed for another year.
Mick Leary needs to be SACKED for re-signing Elliot, I remember Mark Levy
was sacked for re-signing Royce Simmons. So the board should sack Leary.

George Ndaira re-signed with Newcastle for a further season.

Why is it that most people ( aside from Government employees ) have Key Performance Indicators, and if they fail to meet them, they are performance managed and given a relatively short time to conform or they are punted?

If this is so..... then why are the management at Panthers Rugby League club not subject to the same terms and conditions of employment as the rest of us?

Could I be bold enough to suggest that decision makers are being held ransom by incompetence?

Nepotism....jobs for the boys.........Penrith is a club where they only hire from within, that leads to laziness and lack of discipline.

Thats the real reason they re-signed the coach....he is the perfect scapegoat ..a foil.. or diversion away from the fact that management is pathetic ....never achieve decent results unless by fluke.

We are stuck with this bunch of terminal losers.....we may as well go to another forum and rub each other while getting off on the fact that we finished 11th.

I don't understand how some of us can see the facts ..the truth ..while others have no freaking idea...

They can't hide behind Matt Elliott anymore.

Exactly Elliott is going ok. prob 6/10. If the game goes how they want he is good. The prob he has is when things don't work out he can't quickly come up with a plan B eg. Dragons game at CUA. In theory having small mobile bench and run them around seemed good. But when things didn't work as it did then with even error free players like Gordon makes errors he can't work out a plan B to cover.

However Management wont open the purse strings and we continuely bleed players and Lower grade coaches. No control of ME

How ironic. We are linked to so few players and the ones we are linked too would seriously give us a second thought and would prefer to run around in the local Newcastle Comp.

I think the only way to change things is to vote the current board out of office, it worked at Parramatta and the results are there for everyone to see. It's now up to the members.
BTW how is Panthers leagues club trading since the renovations?
