Anyone who wants the Tigers and Penrith to play at Parramatta has literally zero idea about football.

Look at the posters saying they should share the ground. They are the forum mongs. Clearly no idea about the setup of Sydney or the sport.

When we were good we averaged 17500 at Penrith. We are a 1/2 short of being good again. The place it holds 21500 so could meet the 20k average. We just need to win some games.

Great article explaining why suburban stadiums in their present state are archaic and have limited shelf life.

Make Parra a 40k stadium. Put Penrith and Wests in there. Put the other sydney teams in ANZ and SFS and there you go. 21st century grounds for a 21st century sport.

f**k off idiot. What benefit do Penrith get from playing out of Parra?

Nothing. Playing out of Parra just means a longer trek for most of our fans.

Funny the only people pushing this idea is a muppet from Coffs Harbour and a muppet from Perth.

What the f**k do you know about Western Sydney BM?

Bunnyliar is just ashamed that Souffs have left redfern and have no proper home. He feels the need to justify that by taking the stance that other teams should be homeless and whore themselves out to the highest bidder.

Excellent, will they demolish the existing stand to build that length of the field one? Can't find any proposed images looking front on at it.

Too early to tell as it is a 7 year project, shopping centre, new leagues club (which may involve improvements on the eastern side of the ground as per plan) and first residential tower are first up.

Still no good reason why hills should no longer be around.

You are the only person I have seen that hates hills. Stop thinking your opinion is the majority because so far in this thread it isn't.

Should the NRL re-arrange itself to suit your personal preferences?

My personal preferences? Can you name a sport anywhere in the world where you will see fans standing on hills to watch the game?
Park footy, yeah. But not a billion dollar sport like NRL.

First visit was to see them v Warriors in 2008 then the the Titans about 3 seasons ago dragged the wife with me, nearly froze and she swore she'd never go back, managed to convince her otherwise last time we were in Sydney last season and we went to watch them play Storm. Whenever I am in Sydney I try to get to every game being played that weekend, being devoid of top flight RL will do that for you!

Do you mean the season just past? If so, surely you must have enjoyed the atmosphere that Sunday arvo, it was an awesome day, not just the game of footy but for the crowd as well.
Slater getting sent off will be etched in history for the reception he received from the crowd.

Yep, looks absolutely terrible. Why would you put it on t.v?

Absolutely dreadful.

Looks like a scene from the early 20th century.

Interesting to note that Tony Abbott met Phil Gould last night. read into that what you will. However Gus has come out and said previously he will meet with poli's about a major upgrade at centrebet

Cause they do it we should. I suppose thats best reason you have come up with so far.

As you can see in this thread hills are still loved by most.

EDIT: And as you can see over the next page or so there are a few.

I can see a place in the NRL where hills can remain, but stadiums should not be dominated by hills. Manly for example is a terrible place, close to no seats. Newcastle on the other hand is a perfect example of hill/seat ratio.

Not just fans but sponsors I am sure Abcoe and sinclair ford would love the move 40mins up the road. It defeats to purpose of supporting the team to get locals to buy your product
