Terrible logo. No look of tradition. It looks like something a whizz kid sat in an office somewhere has knocked up in his lunch hour.

iT'S NOT that bad, although it's not very good either. Why the blue? I laugh when I read things like "this totally boring, common logo was developed over a period of 12-months"....

I hate logos that look too 'new', I like tradition. Personally it irks me when clubs change logos because some marketing whiz kid told them they need to upvalue their image credentials to target their new shifting demographics. I understand that there is now the split in the home nations, but something a bit more traditional would of been nice. This to me looks very photoshoppy...pretty poor effort.

On the other hand the RFL are doing good things for the game, so I won't bag them too much.

I'm a little indifferent on the logo, I think the 1895 is important, however I would still like to see the lions on the badge.

After all Lions are a big part of English rugby league and british RL for that matter.

Most people will be shocked at the WC as to the realisation that the game started in 1895 and not 1908.

Truly sh*thouse. Could have incorporated all of those elements in something that didn't look as though it had been cobbled together on Paint.

Very poor.

I think someone on rlfans summed it up best when he said it looks like a cricket box

i've already printed one of them out and stuck it on a t-shirt..lol..expect to see plenty in australia during the world cup..:D

at first i hated the new England RL logo but it's grown on me,i think the reason the RFL did'nt put any lions on the logo is because england has to be seen as different to Great Britain, now both teams have different identities...

A mate of mine printed some very similar T shirts for State of Origin in the late eighties.

It featured Wally Lewis and Wayne Pearce :)

Im actually a little embarrassed about this great sport being represented with this.
I find this one much better:

:thumn I think I voted for that one in that RFL survey (not that I had any right to, being an Aussie).

But the one they've chosen is OK. I'll reserve judgment until I see it on a jersey.

I prefer the two lions above, but hey, it's just a logo after all. The fans won't support a sh*tty team with a good logo, but they should support a good team with a sh*tty logo.
