Quality England jersey that. Best I've seen! How many burgess brothers will be in the squad? I'm thinking only Sam and George deserve to be there, Luke is not up to that standard and Tom didn't get enough of a run in first grade to show what he can do.

Shocked to see no Crabtree or Lunt.

O'Loughlin is injured, McIllorum is lucky to be there, and I have doubts about Ablett at this level.

i don't get all the fuss about ablett...he's big,a handful,can play center & 2nd row....he's a useful squad player imo

I've mentioned on other forums, at Leeds after Peacock, Sinfield and Watkins, Ablett would be the next name down on the sheet for me. He is all class when it comes to the game side of things. One of the best second rowers in the league and on current form there's only Westwood ahead of him IMO.

Only problem is he's very niggly and trouble is never far away. He winds the oppo up though and has taken a few punches this season :lol:

We have Ablett, Briscoe, G.Burgess, S.Burgess, T.Burgess, Burrow, Charnley, Chase, Cudjoe, Farrell, Graham, Hall, Hardaker, Hill, Hock, McIllorum, Mossop, O'Loughlin, Roby, Sinfield, Tomkins, Watkins, Westwood, Widdop.

I don't know who is injured and who isn't but for me notable players missing include Crabtree, Jones-Buchanan, Myler, Ellis and Lunt. Tom Burgess has only played 10 or so first grade games and I honestly believe at this point Luke is better but neither would be better than Crabtree. And I see McNamara still believes in the Rangi Chase myth.
Anyway of that squad I'd have:

mozza would'nt have started...graham & mossop or hill will start...so then you look at impact replacement...george has one bench spot booked...so who do u give the 2nd spot too??? a 60 test vet or a 21year old carbon copy of big george...lol

Tom has been solid but nothing spectacular. Luke was playing better imo. Tom has the potential to be like George but hasn't had enough time just yet.
