I certainly won't miss that, good luck with that Parra.
But his rep performances have been fine.

I agree with that and i also think he has the potential to carve up Englands centres. At his best he is very hard to contain for any centre.

He also doesn't get anywhere near enough credit for his defense, especially in terms of making big hits. I think his up there with the likes of Matai except he doesn't clutch at his shoulder and neck every time he does it.

the team with the best defence has someone in it who can't defend.

Good stuff.

Any games your thinking off?

It amazes me how many people can eatch the game for years and still no next to nothing about it!

Broughs problem was that he came back too early from a bad injury, he did so because the Giants were woefully out of form and they expected Broughy to answer all their problems.

Everything they did from that point forward was via Danny Brough, overkill or what. Having had the benefit of a break and with players who could capitalise on his creativity would see Broughy hitting the form he showed early season. Instead of that we'll see Sinfield do his ineffective best which we already know isn't good enough at International level.

Atkins has been head and shoulders better than any other available centre including the much vaunted but soon to underwhelm, Jack Reed. OK so Atkins has opted out but your points re his defensive ability are well out of date.

Mossop, well your assessment of him is laughable, more hit ups, more tackles, less misses, better average yards, more tries, conceded less penalties. He's been the cornerstone of the Wigan pack in the last two seasonsin which the pies have won the CC and the GF while finishing 1st and then 2nd in the league but you think he's only marginaly betterthan Ryan Bailey.

Give yourself an uppercut fella!

I'd agree with all that.

Brough was rubbish in the second half of the season - regardless of injuries or what the Giants asked him to do. Picking someone who is out of form for so long is a massive risk. Interesting you compare brough to sinfield - do you know they don't play in the same position?

As mentioned earlier I have no problems with Atkins attack, but his defence is still woeful.

And regardless of how you rate Mossop he is not better than Peacock, Graham, Morley or Carvell.

Morley has played 5 less games than Mossop, yet made only 3 less carries, 100 less metres, made three times the offloads, 1 less tackle bust.

Carvell played 2 more games, made 200 more metres, made 36 more carries, offloaded 43 times compared to Mossop's 5, and 2 less tackle busts

Peacock made 40% less appearances, yet only made 19% less metres, 11% less carries and twice the offloads

Graham made one more apprearance, yet made 1,900 more metres, 279 more carries, 5 times as many offloads and twice as many tackle busts.

Bailey played 30% less than Mossop, made 38% less metres, 35% less carries, 31% less tackle busts and twice as many offloads

So, based on stats, Mossop is only marginally better than Bailey, but way off the other 4 props. The difference between the two's average metres made is 0.5m. Mossop is a crash ball prop who'll take the ball in and try and make that extra few cm's, whereas Bailey is more a player which will take the ball in and then look for the offload.

What's wrong with Riley and Foster? Both better options than what's been named.

As for Ben Westwood, maybe because Reed and CH haven't been out for 2 or so months?
