England seem to be doing the same stupid stuff, (penalties, bad general kicking). There kicking needs to find ground. If they can't find ground today, then how will they fidnd ground against better teams in the WC. Good to see a few 'new' faces (for me anyway - Mossop, Hardaker) ...

23:50 ENG 12-0 Roby scores. Cudjoe smashes Hodgson as he receives the ball in an attacking play on the ENG line. Roby gets the ball and runs 80+ metres to score under the post.

29:00 ENG 18-0 Sweeping play from around the 50. Myler holds up a pass to Ellis, wraps around creating ovelap, receives the ball, passes to cudjoe who runs 30+ metres, has 2 in support vs hodgson, dummies and scores.

Myler drops the ball on the ensuing kickoff. Amateur hour there.

38:05 ENG 24-0 Sinfield goes from dummy half (has shifted to dummy half), carves up the markers, around the 20-40m line, passes to Tomkins, Tomkins scores. Too easy.

Sinfield playing well from dummy half..

Half time. Could be 50 today, note the England team are rotating players...

Watkins, Hock, Burgess(s), Graham, Widdop will all add to this England team too. Im not getting carried away though. The exchange rate has meant that this is the worst Exiles team since the concept started. If England don't score at least 40 I'll be disappointed.

Sinfiled has looked good with ball in hand at both 6 and 9. Chris Hill is playing well too. Cudjoe has had some good moments in both attack and defence and Hardaker is looking solid out of position at centre. Myler put Ellis through a gap for Cudjoes try too with a nice pass.

There's been a few positives and a few negatives. Its a nice platform until we get to play the proper teams though.

If today has shown anything, it is just how influential Kevin Sinfield is. He may not always look like the best player in the world, and I agree he isnt, but I doubt theres many better players in the world who can influence a team like he can.

Cudjoe scores probably the laziest interception try I have seen. He was just stood resting in the centre of the field and the ball came near him. He stuck his hand out and went 50 odd metres to score.

30-10, 79 mins

I was pretty underwhelmed, the Exiles were ordinary and England should have put them away by more.
England will go into the WC with their halfback problems still not solved. At least even McNamara will know that Rangi Chase should be nowhere near the squad.

... you actually think he will see that?
