Will be interesting to see what the make of the kiwis squad will be...i would be surprised if players like Foran/Johnson are allowed to go.

You're sounding more like me with every passing day homer lol..

The NZRL & kearney will bring the strongest possible team and fight any club that tries to withold players....why? Because if the kiwis win the series they'll officially overtake australia in the rankings...

Our scorelines have been closer that australia v nz over the last 3games pal...

Don't forget widdop hit the posts twice in dunedin last year...we should have won by 2 not lost by 2...plus we had a penalty infront of the sticks at fulltime...in a test series we'd have took the 2 to draw the game...all positives...

What positives have australia got?? The next gen failed, the old gaurd failed...in melbourne last year GI was millimeters from letting in ryan hall by taking another airswing at the ball that let in SKD yesterday...

Australia are well and truly busted...and you lot absolutely need a year off,you won't be missed, and its only going to make england & nz stronger...thanks

They have no f**king choice.

Do you really think RTS put his hand up saying i need a break? Not because his club wanted a full off season with at full back?

I have been in presentations with NZRL CEO and he talked about the power the clubs have and they cant compete against it. If they did compete then the Kiwis would be playing mid season test during SOO - FACT.

To be fair i would be happy for Foran to take a break...he is 24, carrying a couple injuries and a good break would do him wonders. I would rather see the kiwis blood another stand off...i wouldnt be suprised if the Warriors dont release Johnson with the injuries he is carrying too. After watching the JNR Kiwis just go down to the JNR Roos who had plenty of NRL experence, i would expect a few of them to be bought along during the tour.

While its a long way off, every player will be carrying injuries come the end of the season...so its easy for the clubs to pull the 'surgery' card.

NZRL wont fight for their strongest team...this tour is all about making $$$$ that is it. World Rankings mean nothing...

The NZRL will do what they can without rocking the boat (NRL Clubs).

Did you see the interview with David Collier that I posted last month? Weakened teams and players being pulled out of international matches for no reason are going to be a thing of the past, or at least greatly reduced if his plans come to fruition.
Too bad this game isn't played at Wembley. Don't worry, hopefully next year's Four Nations tournament will have a double-header at Wembley again, and England can play NZ instead of Australia.
Olympic Stadium is a good choice, 54,000 capacity is much better for this match than the 90,000 at Wembley.

Thats fine...he can say that all he wants but end of the day NRL clubs will have the last say...all i can say is ask NZRL about Manu Ma'u for the 2014 ANZAC test.

I hope it does change..

What you are underestimating here is the will of the players. These guys will never play Origin, playing at Wembley and Old Trafford in the WC would have been the highlight of their careers.

Playing a test for the Kiwis at the Olympic stadium in front of 50k+ and a chance to be World No.1 is a massive pull. I suppose you only have to be a Kiwi player around Origin time (putting up with all the hype and pinnacle stuff) to know what officially being the best side in the World would mean to them.

I'm getting pumped up for the autumn already. Lol.

Same here. Organising a trip from Kings Lynn RLFC to the 2nd Test; sold 50 seats in 48hrs! Clearly a few others think the International games are the best time of the year as in comparison, we've sold 4 seats for the Cup Final and less for the Grand Final.
