Will be interesting to see what the make of the kiwis squad will be...i would be surprised if players like Foran/Johnson are allowed to go.
Allowed to go? Why wouldn't they be?
They have no f**king choice.Do you think Parramatta after spending millions on getting foran to their club that they will allow him to go to England for a month then miss two months pre season training?
They have no f**king choice.
You're sounding more like me with every passing day homer lol..
The NZRL & kearney will bring the strongest possible team and fight any club that tries to withold players....why? Because if the kiwis win the series they'll officially overtake australia in the rankings...
First 15,000 tickets sold for London match.

Considering how far out the match is, 40K+ has to be a must for this game.
Did you see the interview with David Collier that I posted last month? Weakened teams and players being pulled out of international matches for no reason are going to be a thing of the past, or at least greatly reduced if his plans come to fruition.Do you really think RTS put his hand up saying i need a break? Not because his club wanted a full off season with at full back?
I have been in presentations with NZRL CEO and he talked about the power the clubs have and they cant compete against it. If they did compete then the Kiwis would be playing mid season test during SOO - FACT.
To be fair i would be happy for Foran to take a break...he is 24, carrying a couple injuries and a good break would do him wonders. I would rather see the kiwis blood another stand off...i wouldnt be suprised if the Warriors dont release Johnson with the injuries he is carrying too. After watching the JNR Kiwis just go down to the JNR Roos who had plenty of NRL experence, i would expect a few of them to be bought along during the tour.
While its a long way off, every player will be carrying injuries come the end of the season...so its easy for the clubs to pull the 'surgery' card.
Olympic Stadium is a good choice, 54,000 capacity is much better for this match than the 90,000 at Wembley.Too bad this game isn't played at Wembley. Don't worry, hopefully next year's Four Nations tournament will have a double-header at Wembley again, and England can play NZ instead of Australia.

Thats fine...he can say that all he wants but end of the day NRL clubs will have the last say...all i can say is ask NZRL about Manu Ma'u for the 2014 ANZAC test.
I hope it does change..
Spot on lad....for poms & kiwis playing tests,in iconic stadia, infront of huge crowds....and becoming the number 1 test nation IS WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT...
I'm getting pumped up for the autumn already. Lol.
