This Year?

Congrats to England. Have looked classier and generally played within themselves outside of the Samoan sinbin period.
As a Dragons fan I was very interested in how Leilua would go at lock. In attack he looks ok but in defence not so much.
Samoa need at least another 3 quality players before they can compete with tier 1 nations but what I like about them is they stick to their own style of footy.

Great stuff England. Wrecked Samoa as expected. Love watching England play. Will generally cheer for them against anyone except Australia and maybe PNG. Thought it was hilarious that Luai immediately resorted to the fetal position when a scrap looked on from his grubbiness and didn't have 3 bigger players to immediately retreat behind.
I think Samoa will be thankful there isn't a third game.

To'o and Critter alone are probably a 12 point swing. They were also missing some good forwards

You mean like Crichton, To'o, Tuilagi, Utoikamanu and potentially Haas and Tino? At full strength Samoa are as competitive as anyone.

I think Samoa is missing there whole front row. May is probably the only one that makes the top samoan team.
Front row
Stefano Utoikamanu
Junior Paulo
Josh Papali'i
Spencer Leniu
Royce Hunt
Oregon Kaufusi

Second Rowers
Jayd'n Sua
Heilum Luki

Backs
Sua Faalogo
Stephen Critchon
Brian To'o
Tommy Talau
Murray Taulagi

If Nz, Tonga and Samoa are at full strength Tonga would be the outsiders out of the 3 nations which is crazy.

Tonga have a bit of that QLD spirit in them though. Can rise to the occassion and punch above their weight.

England fully deserved the series win but that refereeing leaves a nasty taste in the mouth.

Moore hammered Samoa in the first test and Kendall subtly got England through when things got tough in game two

Worth recalling that Moore (ref) and Kendall (video) got Wigan home in WCC versus Penrith in February.

Samoa came to wrestle and slow down the ruck, not surprising when you look at the size of them. Ref wanted an open game, they didnt learn.
