This is turning out to be a VERY big match!

For samoa to have Milford, McGuire, Kasiano, BJ Leilua etc on their side is MASSIVE!

England as always will name a Strong 17 man squad, but i have a feeling Samoa will have them covered in every area!

I'm hoping for an upset but i reckon England will win 24-10.

What on earth is with that England team. Hardaker in the Centres and not Full Back?

Pita Godinet comes in to replace Kaysa Pritchard for samoa... English knows him very well from the four nation... scored 2 tries against them

Have such huge concerns on this English team. Will not be surprised to see them beaten. Backlash to this named English team already present on social media. UK Media seem pretty down beat on their chances as well.

That England lineup is embarrassing, players out of position, out of form and non-impact players expected to make an impact. LOL. Bennett is a myth.

England 17-man squad to face Samoa

England
1. Stefan Ratchford (Warrington Wolves, Wigan St Patricks)
2. Jermaine McGillvary (Huddersfield Giants, Deighton Juniors)
3. Kallum Watkins (Leeds Rhinos, Latchford Albion)
4. Zak Hardaker (Castleford Tigers, Featherstone Lions)
5. Ryan Hall (Leeds Rhinos, Oulton Raiders)
6. Kevin Brown (Warrington Wolves, Thatto Heath Crusaders)
7. Luke Gale (Castleford Tigers, Middleton Marauders)
8. Sam Burgess (South Sydney Rabbitohs, Dewsbury Moor)
9. Josh Hodgson (Canberra Raiders, East Hull)
10. James Graham (Canterbury Bulldogs, Blackbrook)
11. Mike McMeeken (Castleford Tigers, Staines Titans)
12. Elliott Whitehead (Canberra Raiders, West Bowling)
13. Sean O’Loughlin (C) (Wigan Warriors, Wigan St Patricks)

Interchange
14. Chris Hill (Warrington Wolves, New Springs Lions)
15. Chris Heighington (Cronulla Sutherland Sharks, Umina Bunnies)
16. Chris McQueen (Gold Coast Titans, Wynnum Manly Seagulls)
17. Thomas Burgess (South Sydney Rabbitohs, Dewsbury Moor)

Both Sam and Tom have been named.

I'm disappointed Hardaker hasn't been named at fullback given his early season form at Castleford.

Other than injury I see no reason why Percival, Taylor and Walmsley haven't been named in the 17.

The concern isn't with the talent we have...it's with the dickhead picking it

With the announcement Perth will be England's home. Base for rlwc2017 they should have played this game in Perth on Sunday and started the build up for end of year tournament.

Hot garbage.

Hardaker should be FB, Percival centre, and Ratchford at home playing club footy.

Walmsley and Taylor should be in for McQueen and Heighington who should have been absolute last resort backups, if they must be picked. What a waste of a trip over for those 2.

Bennett's only answer to these continued baffling selections is winning the WC, but it's hard to see it happening

Remember this is the Pacific test... England were invited to take part in the Pacific test that's been going on for 3 years now

The NRL obsession with 'ball-playing fullbacks' which killed Hardaker's stint with the Panthers strikes again. These Aussie robots are so set in their ways.

I disagree with the comment about Liam Farrell & McQueen..Liam Farrell is that work horse 2nd rower that every team needs..

But anyway..c'mon Samoa, beat us so we can sack bennett

I haven't seen much or perhaps any super league this season so I'm not going to pretend I know better than Bennett but he has made some big calls and if they don't pay off he is going to have to answer for them.
I'm not sure I understand everyone getting upset about players flying out here and then not getting picked. What if someone gets injured during the week or picks up a bug on the flight. That's the entire point in a squad.

If the BBC offered less than 10k I can understand why the RFL decided to try and stream it themselves.
