HARRY IS ON A COME BACK YIPI YI YO GO LIVERPOOL 8) Mercurial midfield star Harry Kewell could be set for a swift return to the Liverpool side for this Saturday's must-win Premiership clash with bottom club Wolves.

The 25-year-old Australian was expected to make his much-anticipated comeback from ankle injury for the meeting with Bolton, the very club against whom he was sidelined in the Carling Cup earlier this month, on Boxing day at Anfield.

The former Leeds man, who has already weighed in with eight goals in just twenty games this term, would add much needed guile and craft to Gerard Houllier's side in a game that the Reds can simply not afford to lose if fading hopes of Champions League football are to be invigorated. ;-)

Off the bottom. And with easy games away to Man U and home to Liverpool over the next couple of weeks, we are safe from relegation.....  ;-) :p

Manchester United have gone down to Middlesbrough 3-2, leaving Arsenal 5 points clear on top. Chelsea moved within one point of Man U with a 2-0 win over Portsmouth.

Arsenal have looked far and away the best side this season, as much as it pains me to admit it!

They deserve to be a lot further ahead of Manny U who have been fortunate to get all 3 points on a number of occasions.

You'd never write-off the much loathed Old Trafforders, but Arsenal will be tough to beat from here.

Some good games played over the weekend!

Chelsea were surely the most fortunate side to have picked up all 3 points this season, having been thoroughly smacked in general play by an exciting and adventurous Manchester City line-up. The preseason hype around the City side hasn't been matched by performances to date, but if they can sustain that sort of play they'll rocket up the table fast.

Arsenal are a class above the other sides when on song and they looked like they were set to put 10 past Charlton early. Full marks to Athletic for settling well and giving the Gunners more than a few anxious moments before surrendering all 3 at the Valley.

The Manny U versus Fulham clash was quite a contest, with the former having justifiable qualms about not being awarded a penalty for a Vandersar indiscretion on Saha. That being said, no side in the league has enjoyed more good fortune from decisions over the years as the Old Trafforders, and on the overall balance of play they only really deserved a point, with Fulham ever so slightly ahead in this area. There have been a lot of questions asked recently about the United defense, and they did little in this game to assuage concerns in this area.

The Liverpool vs Leeds game was a genuine 'clarrie-gripper' and both sides would feel that they were unlucky after having guilt-edged chances to seal the contest. Leeds should not be on the bottom of the table judging by performances over the past fortnight and should feel confident about avoiding the drop. Liverpool have talent, but don't have a clue about what is required to tighten up a contest, hence the inordinate number of draws the team endures. Still, it was good to see Baros back to full fitness, and again he showed that (given a prolonged run in the top side) he could be quite a footballer.

Everton also impressed (long overdue) against an Aston Villa side that has been very, very good of late.

Good luck stopping Arsenal from here...

highly unlikely as owen isnt firing at the moment and they cant seem to get many goals. not to mention ruud 2 yards out nistelroy. but if wes brown is playing in man u's backline anything is possible.

Wes' match fitness is starting to come back, which has been obvious with much improved performances the last three games. The problem is with the rest of our defence. Gary Neville is suspended (as is Rio of course), Silvestre is injured (although he's been saying that he might be fit for the Porto game), Fortune is injured, O'Shea is out of form.

The poor grammatical use complicates things, but OneEye was actually trying to indicate his view that Liverpool would coffee scroll Manny U by 3.

It should have read... You're going down, Man U... By 3!

is there a differnce between your & you're
Used as a modifier before a noun: your boots; your accomplishments.
A person's; one's: The light switch is on your right.
Informal. Used with little or no sense of possession to indicate a type familiar to the listener: your basic three-story frame house.

You \You\ ([=u]), pron. [Possess. Your ([=u]r) or Yours ([=u]rz); dat. & obj. You.] [OE. you, eou, eow, dat. & acc., AS. e['o]w, used as dat. & acc. of ge, g[=e], ye; akin to OFries. iu, io, D. u, G. euch, OHG. iu, dat., iuwih, acc., Icel. y[eth]r, dat. & acc., Goth. izwis; of uncertain origin. [root]189. Cf. Your.] The pronoun of the second person, in the nominative, dative, and objective case, indicating the person or persons addressed. See the Note under Ye.

Ye go to Canterbury; God you speed. --Chaucer.

Good sir, I do in friendship counsel you To leave this place. --Shak.

In vain you tell your parting lover You wish fair winds may waft him over. --Prior.

Note: Though you is properly a plural, it is in all ordinary discourse used also in addressing a single person, yet properly always with a plural verb. ``Are you he that hangs the verses on the trees, wherein Rosalind is so admired ?'' --Shak. You and your are sometimes used indefinitely, like we, they, one, to express persons not specified. ``The looks at a distance like a new-plowed land; but as you come near it, you see nothing but a long heap of heavy, disjointed clods.'' --Addison. ``Your medalist and critic are much nearer related than the world imagine.'' --Addison. ``It is always pleasant to be forced to do what you wish to do, but what, until pressed, you dare not attempt.'' --Hook. You is often used reflexively for yourself of yourselves. ``Your highness shall repose you at the tower.'' --Shak.

Arsenal marched on with a 2-0 win over Blackburn. Henry had a quite brilliant goal unfairly disallowed after his dispossesion of the keeper was ruled to be a foul.
