Exactly- that's the mistake I made in 2000- all I could think of the whole week before the Preliminary was the game. Next year (2001) I was aware of the position Newcastle were in, but I did other stuff to pass the time away on the day of the game- went for a driving lesson, going for a walk etc.

Well it's the last time I go fishing before a big game!
I have to blame that coz I never gone fishing in footy season up here before!
And I didn't catch anything, what a crappy day!
Bet the misses has a headache tonight too.
