De-merge them. They combine to make an ugly jersey.

I'd relocate the Tigers to Perth (instead of that idea of having the Perth Bears).

I'd think about also bringing the Magpies back but as the Sydney Magpies (or maybe Wollongong Magpies) and only if one or two of the other Sydney teams relocate to Christchurch, Adelaide or Melbourne.

This doesn't read like a "full support of the board" moment. That statement is dripping with frustration and contempt, and if this was just some cynical attempt by the SMH to rock the boat further at the Tigers then f**k them, they deserve the spray.

Despite the 100k+ turnouts at their marches, Souths had sub 5k crowds after being readmitted. Totally different circumstance of course so Benny’s delusional if he thinks they’ll pull those numbers to a rally.

Easy solution - rebrand them as the Macarthur Wests Magpies based in Campbelltown - upgrade Campbelltown Stadium as well

Winning is the solution. Tigers are picking up premierships there's none of this talk. Them being a basketcase is why its an issue. Solve that and the talk goes away.
