This sounds like a man who has made the absolute correct decision. Good on him and I wish him well.

Guruju is the wisest man I have ever heard. And the proof?

''Names always look good on paper, but I don't think they mean a lot,'' Grothe said. ''Brian Smith and Wayne Bennett, they're able to do so much with teams of unknown players. As long as the desire and the want is there.''

I'm so sad Eric has left... but I talked to his Dad last night and he said Jr is really happy with his decision. He's going to put his efforts into his personal training business and work on music, he wants to do some acoustic stuff with Snr and brother Daniel

Decent video, was hoping to see the try where he ran over Michael Robertson but ah well.

And BigPond/Telstra are disgraceful. The quality of that video is worse then any other steaming site I use.

Gonna miss guru. But I agree with the call to get him on The Footy Show. Might be a good guy to have as band leader, last I recall it was Dave Gleeson (but this was many years ago) and I think guru would be a great guy to banter with the hosts and also doing intro/ad break music.

Wow, you have been out of the country for a while haven't you?
