Union gets at least a million watching every match though. 3 billion people watched the World Cup final. I thought everyone knew that. People do care about the sport. It's really interesting to watch, nobody thinks it's a boring waste of time at all. No, really.

What you all must remember is that just as everyone with a season ticket is assumed to have attended every RU game so every person with a Sky subscription can be automatically assumed to have been watching Guinness games and every peron with a TV can be safely assumed to be watching such glamour ties as Italy v Scotland.

given the way it is hyped at every chance from new year onwards it should get better figures, not that the 6 nations havn't had to jump through hoops with their scheduling to appease the BBC
