Very young as Weipa says. I can't comment on him coming through the juniors, but he is certainly tough for a kid his age. Usually manges to drag himself a few more metres forward once the defense engages.
I don't know that at this stage he has offered anything more than Farrell did, although he has probably provided a few less poor decisions. Doesn't have the silkiness of Pete M on the other side, but has some toughness about him. Hopefully develops into a Matt Cooper type with the ability to bullock over in time.
At this point in time he isn't critical to the side in an attacking sense, other than the fact that we are thin for options in the centres.

Good observation Bottle, from what ive seen of the kid thus far I agree

He is no better than Green or Runciman at the same age.The only advantage to him is that he has been given the chance to be in the NRL.
I am sure given the chance the other players particularly Runciman would be as good if not better.

He gets driven back in some runs and occasionally is targeted in defence by bigger players but he has shown a lot of improvement since his debut. He is only young so he has been doing very well so far, with a bit more exp he will be a gun in the future

Green is no longer a centre anyway. He's a back rower, and has some merit in that position. Saw him play for the Cutters at one point and he looked likely. Other reports re other games were promising, and he was picked to play NSW residents. He's still only 23. He is at least competent, and has some upside in terms of his youth. I doubt he's costly, worth persevering with for now.

Green???? Um, no thanks.
Runciman is a different proposition. I'd like to see him chosen on the left wing in place of Nabuli.

Aitken seems extremely strong and difficult to wrestle to the ground. Many times he's been tackled by more than one opponent, yet they have been unable to put him on the ground...very similar to Mick Cronin from the Eels. Let's hope he proves to be half as good as Cronin was.

Much better then he's shown so far in first grade. It'll come with confidence, just needs one big game I feel. We don't help him sometimes, Dugan almost chimes in at right centre a bit on attack and we play to Frizzell a lot. Would like to see him receive early ball.

Gasnier loved to receive early ball so he could beat his opposition with footwork. Cooper on the other hand preferred it (ball) just before the line. I'm think this kid is more a Cooper style of player, both in attack and defence.

Hmm no i'm not he's a teenager playing his first season in first grade, you do realise he is only 19 and straight from the NYC into first grade not the NSW Cup.

If you honestly expect him to be playing better then he is at present your the one whoes having a lend as you put it as he has done a fine job so fair playing along side another centre who also hasn't played alot of first grade himself but sorry i forgot your an expert at these things forgive me.
