well if paulo ferreria is worth 14 mil. that makes gary neville worth around 150 mil. lampard scored a great header and the best player in that match was certainly wayne rooney who tore 'em apart at the back. then sven decides to send on that unco-ordinated goon named heskey who gave zizou a gift free kick. then zizou was helped by james' new free kick tactic of having a wall to one side and standing behind it so you can shoot next to the wall and the goalkeeper watches it go in.

Denmark v Italy was a great game. Both sides had periods of domination but I thought the Danes were slightly better. Shame there were no goals, each team spurned some perfect opportunities. Sweden crushing Bulgaria makes things very interesting, maybe this is the real group of death? Italy have some work to do to advance to the quarters.

That game proved another thing:

Thierry Henry is not world class.

He does the dissapearing act once again.
Abit like Totti then isn't he? ;-)

I would have said Del Piero, but no player can match the sheer overratedness of Mr Del Piero. Has he ever played a good game for Italy?

my favourite quote of euro thus far:

"I used to let David Beckham score penalties to give him confidence, but this time no" - Fabien Barthez

:) i hate france but it's good to see england suck still

Greece-- Minnow of the group.

Sure as hell they did not play like that v Portugal.

They are a decent enough defensive side, and finished on top of their group that included Spain and the Ukraine.

What do people think of the idea of being hotst, but playing the qualifyers to get some competitive internationals under your belt. Friendlies are just that, friendlies, and don't prove anything.

I mean where they come will have no difference to the group. If they win their group, the 2nd placed side qualifies automatically, and 3rd goes via the play-off stage.

Or if Portugal finish 2nd, then the same as above, 1st qualifies automatically, 3rd goes in via the play offs.

He does the dissapearing act once again. He can only perform against EPL defences, most of which are absolute sh!t.

He hasnt played a decent game for France against quality opposition since 2000 and even then, he didnt stand out.

To be fair he did not get much service from his midfielders.

i think i am watching on Austar Spain & Russia i have the sound down looks like the Russians are playing well ;-)

And Roman Abramovich was sitting in the crowd wearing a Russian shirt.

No doubt on a secret shopping spy mission for some more players to add to his club.

Totti did more things for Italy when they had hardly no possession than Henry did for a France team who had most of the ball. But yes, Totti didn't have a very good game. He will improve though.

No, Del Piero has never played a good game for Italy. Im pretty sure he won't be starting against Sweeden which means Cassano will probably get a run.

Totti, yeah he did more then henry. Like spitting and trying to snap someone's leg in half.
He should have been sent off, and he should be sent home for his throughly disgraceful behaviour!
Told you he was overated and overhyped.
Hybrid Tiger looks like a total idiot, once again

First of all how was Hybrid supposed to know when he was posting on here that Totti, who is allegedly to of spat at another player if this has only become public knowledge this morning????
If this allegation of spitting is true I agree he should be sent straight back home as this is a very low act  .And to say he is over rated after one performance at the Euro games is ridiculous.
So I would'nt go around calling people stupid just yet. 8)

Hey arsewipe, look at the time of my post you f**king knob. I posted before I knew of this disgusting Totti incident.

Perhaps if you stopped trying to bag me farkstick, you would look alot smarter than you actually are. Just a hint... ;-)

It was a disgraceful act by Totti and I still can't believe it. Even though he doesn't deserve to take any further part in this tournament, I hope he comes back (if he gets the chance) and shows everyone how much talent he has. Such a shame to see him waste it by doing this sort of sh!t.

Bring on Cassano. The world will know how good he is in a couple of days. 8)

What makes you so sure?

Giovanni Trapattoni has a favouring for Del Piero it seems, so he will likely start v Sweden.

Yes I hope for Cassano to get a game.

It is quite obvious that the overated golden boy could not handle the pressure so had to act in such a way to make sure he was not shown up.
