When are we going to bring this young fella into the squad? There have been countless opportunities to do so throughout this year yet we have opted for another forward in the backline. This kid if coached properly have the potential to be the next superstar, he's really in the Ben Barba mould.

Why do you think Pricey's holding him back?

He's injured and out for the season! His defence was a bit iffy, like most of the 20s in the comp. Got a lot of potential though.

His inclusion in the team has been debated ad-nauseum!

I think we shouldn't wait any longer, we should give him a game or 2 towards the end of this year and slowly pull him into 1st grade, his defence will improve, look at sowie.

So they're saying that its precautionary so he will be right for next year?

Yep, having corrective surgery for an ongoing ankle injury. He'll be out for the rest of this year, but ready for the 2013 pre-season

he's definitely out! we announced just the other week that he'd have to have the ankle surgery, but there isn't an official return time etc to add to the injury page yet ... he's a little gun tho. evander with the ball is probably the best reason to come early and watch NYC.

I can't add anything that other people haven't said re: his injury/operation. But I can't wait for this lad to make his first grade debut. Fingers crossed the interchange rule is changed and there are less of them. This little gun will absolutely carve up (even more so than he is already) if this happens.
