I regard to expansion, I think if they do add a couple teams in a few years time, they should add 2. Those 2 should without a doubt be the "Central Coast Bears" (highly potential area and would get the norths faithful back involved) and the "Balmain Tigers" (which would see wests return to being "Wests Magpies").
The Gold Coast had their shot and can go and get f**ked, whereas "the southern Orca's" (what a shocking name!) would never have any hope of getting the fanatical union fans of NZ suporting more than one team when they've already got the warriors.

3) Wests/ Tigers split up
4) Parramatta merge with Penrith
5) Wests merge with Bulldogs

When NEWS PULLS the plug on the Storm don;t come on here whinging about it face the facts support is dwindling every year and no one is interested in them in victoria and no one want's to go and play for them. The NRL should make the sensible decision and relocate them to a true league area and admit the central coast.

Suggesting that Wests and Balmain split just so they can merge with other teams is ridiculous.

Abandoning Melbourne as well as pushing mergers in Sydney is idiotic. Not only are you losing club identities (and probably fans) your also contracting the game to a smaller market just so you can have a magic number of teams, 12.

Your wrong mate, Kids have reached an all time high of playing Rugy League in vic, which is numbered at about 10,000. Its growing larger each year.
