Expect a sea of orange & blue at Albert Park in November. Fans didn't really get behind Dan Ricciardo in a Renault. They will in a Mclaren.

That Aston Martin looks great.

Epic choke by Verstappen.. needed a little more patience.

Hamilton's experience wins out again.

He f**ked up - still managed 2nd though. Was a great race and I agree with your point about Hamilton's experience. Seems Max had one shot and did not conserve the tyres as well either. Merc schooled Red Bull in this one - that first undercut set them up.

We will have to wait and see. It will be interesting for anyone who qualifies out of usual order - a chance to move up for Sunday. There are a couple of things you could predict - for example this could be very good for Ricciardo who is qualifying poorly this year, but improves position well in the race. The opposite would be true for Mr Saturday - George Russell, who somehow drags the Williams up the grid in qualifying only to have it all go to shit as expected in the race. Stroll could benefit, as could both Alpha's. For anyone willing to take risks and crash out in lap one on Sunday, what is the difference? I think that is what the organisers are hoping - front runners being conservative and those with less to lose taking some more risks.

Mercedes were always gonna come back strongly at tracks that don't expressly suit RB.

That being said you don't know what the sprint race is going to throw up, really don't like the idea of it determining grid positions for the race. What happens if you get a puncture through no fault of your own?

Friday quali was great. In that sense, the idea makes sense. Quali Friday, sprint Saturday then race . Makes no difference really if you have bad luck in qualifying, lap 1 or the sprint race. Not sure about the tyre rules yet - what was used in quali/sprint and race start . I don't mind F1 trying this, as risky as it all seems.

That weekend had a bit of everything. Leclerc unlucky not to win, Verstappen very lucky to walk away. Ricciardo has something to be happy about.

That was one for the books. As weird as GP's will get - we will always be able to say "well remember Hungary 2021"
Yeah. Enjoyed watching Ocon win it though, was a much closer race with Vettel on his arse more or less the whole race. He was in the right place at the right time and he capitalised on it. Alonso played a big part in the win in holding off Hamilton for as long as he did on some badly aged hard compounds.

Verstappen unlucky again being collected by a Mercedes again.

f**ken hilarious watching Hamilton get done over by the rest of the grid on the restart being left on the intermediates.

This season keeps getting better. Mclaren, Ferrari, Williams top 3 qualifiers. George Russell continues to over achieve in qualifying.
