The same protagonists are looking strong in FP1 thus far. Ferarri and Red Bull cover the top four.

Good to see Daniel in the top 10 albeit once again behind Lando Norris. That would be eating him up.

Ocon is really taking it to Alonso this year. Love it. Good news as far as I am concerned as I want Oscar Piastri in his seat as soon as practically possible. Oscar and Ocon will be a good young pairing in 2023.

Cars have or are expected to hit upwards of 320 to 330 km/h at the changed part of the track. FP2 is on now but F1 has had so many issues with their on-screen timing this season, can't tell how quick anyone is going.

Ferrari look better and sound better than the rest. Alpine the surprise, pretty solid.

Good to see McLaren looking better. Battle at the front between Ferrari and Red Bull should make for an interesting qualifying today.

You would have to think it’s a Charles and Max front row, but hoping we might see a mix with Sainz or Perez changing things up a bit

Damn if I was a Ferrari driver I would have been spewing by now, that porpoising is terrible, hard to believe it doesn't appear to have any effect on their pace.

Stay away rain.

Stroll and Latifi. What a combo. The team should rest Latifi before he gets hurt

I had high hopes for Sainz here. Just no luck in Q3.

Leclerc is on fire at the moment. If he maintains this form through the whole year the season will be over early.

Red Bull need to find some reliability and Mercedes a bit more pace and we could have a three way battle which would be amazing

Will be interesting as they get to different tracks. Right now the Ferrari is clearly a cut above. The Aston safety cars are a good advert for Mercedes. The old Mercs looked, sounded and handled better.

First slip up from the Ferrari drivers.

The more races RB finish consecutively the more nervous Ferrari will get.

Sainz has shit luck. You're right about slipping up and RB will get stronger as the season continues. Great stuff.

They should have started Monaco as scheduled. Ferrari strategy cost them dearly. f**king up a Monaco front row is really f**king up. Glad to see Perez get the win.

Ferrari just destroying their own chances of winning this year. Poor Charles and Carlos just having the worst luck.

Merc really need to get on top of the porpoising as well.

Right now this is Red Bulls championship to lose

Turned right around since Australia. Was looking like Ferrari had it and Redbull had issues. Newey has designed the best car again. The porpoising is ridiculous for Merc and Ferrari and Mclaren not much better.

A few spare seats available for '23 still it would seem. Piastri looks like he'll make an announcement on his future shortly after shitting on Alpine's announcement that he will be in seat #2 next year.

Fun to watch and took the attention from Ferrari strategy disasters. Contract negotiation via twitter in Indy and F1.

Danny out and Oscar in. Surely Danny goes for the Alpine seat now.

Haas could be moving for a play for Danny too considering they have stopped talking to Schumacher
