We have not only signed Kimmorley for what on field but also what he brings to us off field which will be just as important. He wont get into off field trouble and is an experienced head which can lead our side, his the type of player we need after everything we have gone through and he may not be the top half he once was but anything is an improvement on Holdsworth and Roberts lollll

I must say it is freaky seeing him wearing something other than a sharks jersey.

Actually it warmed the cockles of my heart to see him in something other than a Sharks jersey. Our strip never suited him nor did he suit our strip. The fact he ever wore our gear is the biggest insult to fans, of any team, in the 100 year history of the game. I'm beside myself with joy that this halfback impostor has found another Oasis to drink from.

Coff, coff, coff.

Aaaahhhh the 'Dogs. What a bunch of try hards. No amount of Toxic Gnomes can mend the damage they have done to themselves over the past 10 years.

He'll continue giving 100% effort which will probably be 70% more than his replacement at the Sharks.

He is a good signing for the reasons you mentioned, but still isnt someone a team wishing to win a comp wants around in 2009.

Good bloke, good family man, great off the field.

It's just on the field that he lacks.

Best off luck to him.

"kids need to be fitted in dogs gear"

poor kids

good luck to him (with the off field stuff and trying to help fix the club) but on the field, you are going to get shown up to be the hack you are

cant wait to play them!!

i believe it was the rapport he had with the rest of the team that was killing us the most.

i think everyone saw him as the annoying kid that just wouldnt give up trying to be one of the group. a real nerd.

this is why he didnt gel with most of the team.
i reckon we could have put anyone as captain this year and we would have improved.

you could always see him trying to talk everyone up, but they all would be ignoring, looking in the opposite direction.

with the exceptions of guys like simmo and beau scott, the rest would look down at him.

thommo seemed to get along with him quite well.

good luck to the dogs if they think he will be good for them.
