I remember that almost every time it would go dare then double dare then physical challenge because the kids loved doing them.

There was a family episode and the father kept just answering the questions and you could see the kids were getting rather annoyed that they didn't get to do the fun physical challenges.

Yep. Family Double Dare was the greatest ratings disaster in Channel Ten's history (and it has some stern competition). They put it on 7.30pm on a Monday or Tuesday night. f**k it was terrible.

If you've ever seen 'Dogs in Space', it was like a slightly tamer version of that house, and I was the only merkin in the house with a job. Only half the house were coneheads actually....the other had a bottle of amyl nitrate permanently stuck to their nose. Didn't work out so well for many of my friends unfortunately.
