I thought it was kind of a given that if Woods wasn't the next captain then he would be at least part of the leadership group.

Edit - Doesn't really help if he is on Origin duty though and we would still need an on-field captain when he is subbed off.

Enfield Feds play for the Balmain district . It was originally wests prior to them moving to Campbeltown.

Thanks for bringing me up to date. I left Sydney 25 years ago after playing for the Feds in the 70's.

For a stand in and future captain i would be looking at Tedesco....you need your captain on the field the full 80 ...to me Tedesco seems that he would fit the bill. Brooks also could be down the track if the guy ever comes out of his shell

Gee not getting 900k a season out of him this year. No leadership. Or maybe Taylor has taken away his leadership and given it to the halves to try and guide us.

Been a terrific player but can we find better value elsewhere across the park?
Doesnt look interested at all this year. And this after his efforts last year with Potter.
Has been really average this year. Ennis-like or Ballin-like average. Offering very little.

Farah may as well play with 13 on his back as he's contribution now is solely as a defender .Undoubtedly he's under instructions from super-coach Taylor to hand over the reins to the useless 6 & 7.

Our halves couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery. They are pathetic & the odds are that at least 1 of them is not going to fulfill his potential & succeed in nrl.

We are in dire straits !!

To say the least. If this season ends up the way it is looking this is an unacceptable result. I'm sorry but someone has to be held to account. Mayer left at an opportune time before the sh#t hits the fan. There is not one positional role on the field I reckon the club can see progress on, arguably apart from the props. Hooker, second row, lock, half, 5/8, wing. centre and fullback have either stagnated, not performed at level required or even gone backwards. This place is a basket case.

If the season is gone, why wouldn't Farah have a go? It's not like he's ever cared about what the coaches have thought before?

TBH i was surprised he even played considering his shoulder problem, half expected him to do a Slater after SOO 3 and fully recover from his injury.

Arguably Lawrence at backrow and Teddy at fullback have improved but I am with you on the rest.

I wouldn't be opposed to letting Farah have the rest of the season off.

Taylor has already decided that he doesn't care if we win a game all year, so long as the defence improves.

Why flog your quality players in a season where the coach doesn't give a shit if you win or not?

Farah is clearly playing heavily shackled in order to give Brooks and Moses more control. The great thing about Farah in the past was that he was able to take over, or help out if one of the halves was playing like shit.

But he's not even being allowed to do that this year.

f**king Taylor.
