Farah's comments r.e halfback

Well who is responsible for the club not having a genuine halfback?

It's not reading into anything, it's very clearcut.

Stevie Wonder could read between these lines and see clearly what Farah is getting at.

The club has two halfback options in Humble and Miller, Sheens chooses not to pick them. Now that Humble had a blinder for BRET on the weekend you can bet lefty that we'll be lucky to see him anywhere near the halves again for the rest of the year.

I think you have it wrong with regards to what Farah is stating or at least who it is directed at. I don't think he is having a go at Sheens.

Also you may as well blame Lui. Lui was that genuine halfback. Everyone stating Humble or Miller are genuine halves may be correct however they haven't proved it in the NRL yet.

If Lui wasn't a lowlife, we'd have a genuine halfback playing for us this year. A halfback that took us to two top four finishes, and what should have been two preliminary finals; the players let themselves down against the Warriors in 2011.

Could've easily been a grand final in 2010 too.

I find Sheens extremely frustrating, and I think he is stale. A little bit of even handedness from some of you wouldn't go astray though.

Agree.

Lui was being groomed as a long term halfback at this club and he threw away his opportunity. We've signed Anasta for next year to most likely play in the halves.

Honestly what else could Sheens have done in this situation? We can't just pluck one out of the air.

We have had three no7 since Lui and none of them have been allowed to play the no7 role, so I dont know how anyone can judge them if they are not allowed to use their skills. It's the setup that stinks not the players and who plans the set up??????. We keep going around in circles

Its pretty clear that he said Wests Tigers don't have a genuine halfback.

what more can be read into that?
That's not the same as saying "I can't perform without a traditional halfback".

As I see it, Farah has been responding to criticism that his game is not suited to Origin by pointing out that the role of a 9 at Wests Tigers is not the same as the role of a 9 in the NSW SOO side right now - and that he is capable of playing well within both structures.

If I wanted to read more into it, I might suggest Farah acknowledges he could play a more traditional 9 game if he had a more traditional 7 alongside him... but I haven't seen any comments that would confirm he is frustrated by not being able to play as a traditional 9.

I am yet to be convinced that Farah is mounting an open rebellion...

Farah has been upset at Sheens since 2007 in regards to the halfback position and has been promised the world by Sheens and he has failed to deliver year after year.

After last season we were looking at: 1. Tedesco 7. Lui and both have now unexpectedly become unavailable, of course there was going to be tinkering. Humble and Moltzen have been both been given a go in their supposed best positions, and neither has done much to impress. As a result we've now signed a guy who can play halfback.

We've been unlucky. The Lui situation has well and truly left us f**ked, in what was supposed to be our year.

with Setiamata Sa as the five eighth and Craig Wing shifted from halfback to hooker.

They leaked a point a minute in the second half.

He would be if told all he had to do was kick, pass to Benji occasionally, tackle and shut his f**king mouth.

As I have said before, if Humble,Miller,Moltzen and Chilsom were allowed to play the role of a no7, than we could judge them and make comment on the ability to fill the role, but as we all know when given the chance they play this new hybrid position called SHEENSBACK that rquires them to tackle and pass and be hooked if they attempt anything else.

Cant wait for this week only Benji to drive the car, we will be a rabble

Humble carried us against Penrith when Farah went off early.

No doubt he'll get 4 mins this weekend

You guys dont understand Sheens league. Let me give you some tips. Here is a listing of players currently being discussed for next years roster

Luke Burt - To replace Ellis. Sheens always viewed Burt as a Corey Parker tackle and goal kicking machine style player and wants to see him play in an intimidating back row with Beau Ryan and Jacob Miller next season

Michael Jennings - to replace Jacob Miller in the back row after one bad game.

Jharal Yow Yeh - to replace Tuqiri. We speed test him last week and he did the 50m faster then Tuqiri. Yeah, he was in crutches at the time, but we plan on giving him some one on one time with the WT medical team to slow him down a few more seconds.

Michael Ennis - Double play tactic. Get another captain in the team to convolute the leadership even further. Have a back up hooker at origin time.

Brent Tate - That knee problem seems to be getting better. We can fix that shit in a jiffy.

And special mention to:

Luke Lewis - True Sheens brilliance. This Luke guy thinks he can play every position on the field. So Sheens wants to see how he'd fair as head cheerleader.
