With 10 to go I honestly thought we were going to win by the exact same margin as the first game there. Did the commentators mention that?

f**king Saints ruined it by scoring that try to make it 30-12. No sense of nostalgia those red and white bastards !

Even the bunker could have come to the party and given the semi knock on try ... then just given the ball to kenny to kramp it up the last 8 minutes .... boooooo!

This could well have been at Leichhardt Oval (folowing the 1986 mid-week Panasonic Cup Final), but since this thread is memory lane...

No idea why it came up in a google search for "parramatta eels cheerleaders"...

That photo reminds me of heritage round a few weeks ago. They showed 80's footage of Graeme Hughes shampooing his hair in the shower and a journo shoving a microphone in his face.

IIRC ET sued a media organization because they inadvertently published him in the showers showing his wang.

No wonder we have post match pressers these days.

So just got a card/letter from the Eels thanking me for my membership and to make sure i don't miss the last ever home game at Parra stadium.
On top of that is says that the first 10,000 in get a limited edition pennant flag. I call bullshit on that as i got there an hour before kickoff and they had already stopped handing them out

Blokes with boats always get plenty of roots.
That's just not true, Gary. :(

I bought a yacht around Christmas time cos I fell in love with the idea of bobbing gently on the harbour while enjoying a beer. I figured I'd learn how to sail by watching the America's Cup and some YouTube. To date I've had about three beers on it and surprisingly I still don't know how to sail. Great investment. I hope it's still afloat.
