Fast-track expansion

Here’s my fast track plan for expansion that will elevate the game to a true national status as soon as possible:

New clubs to form:
Perth (2014)
Adelaide (2014)
Central Coast (2013)
Additional Brisbane (South East Qld) (2013)
Additional Melbourne team (2015)

Clubs to axe:
Easts (2014)
Souths (2014)
Penrith (2013)
Gold Coast Titans (there’s only a population of 600000, I think we can afford to let it go) (2013)
Manly (2015)

Thoughts?

"there’s only a population of 600000"

This is Australia. You need some more geography education.

I've had a re-think - they should relocate Manly to Central Coast, and the other teams where possible. Souths to Adelaide? Axing them completely would probably damage the game. Another thing, my name is actually Athol Atrol, but many people have trouble saying it. I'm glad that some people here have been able to get their mouth around it.

What no team on the North Shore and boot Souths to Adelaide where no one cares about League. Get off the acid mate.

I don't think Melbourne 2 is a good idea. The Giants are getting crowds of about 6,000.

No way should the Gold Coast be handed to the AFL. Everything should be done to help the Titans.

GTFO

Why axe the titans only to start another club 45 Mins up the road?

Axe souths, Sydney, Penrith and manly < wtf

For expansion to remain expansion all current clubs need to survive

My expansion timeline - 2c worth

Perth / CC 2013
Brisbane 2 - 2014
CQ / PNG ( possibly together on one ticket sharing home games, ie half a.side each like STGI.
2015+
Adelaide ( Rams or relocation ) 2016

Should allow us to grow the pie in a calm, reasoned fashion without hasty decision making
