That's all well and good, but what kind of attitude is that? I'd be f**king disgusted if that was his attitude, and particularly if I was an Eels fan. No club will want him if that's his attitude.

Sandow was in shape last season - he was thin and fit. It's not hard to see that all he's done in the off season is sit around with his mountains of cash and hit the drink hard.

If you're getting paid $550,000 per year, you owe it to your friends, family, fans and yourself, to be in the best possible physical condition you can be in, and be playing at the very top of your game, or at least be striving to. If you aren't, then go get a job at the local council. (No offence to anyone who works for the council)

I think everyone is a bit harsh on Sandow he has the talent, if it was just him you could understand the scrutiny but it seems like there are a few players in the same boat and for that you can only blame the coach.
If Parra had a decent coach they wouldn't be unfit and playing like shit. Kearney must have gone to the same coaching school as Furner. They don't have a game plan or they can't get the players to buy into it.
If Bellamy were Parra's coach they would be world beaters
