This clip brings a smile to my face seeing the joy on peoples face while they are bopping away to Jeff Lynne's version of Xanadu, reckon i would be like the guy in the blue shirt with white flowers at the 1 min 09 mark if i was there.

Great stuff. If you were to put all the one hit wonders from the 60-70-80's in a bucket and take away the lyrics, melodies and beats there would be nothing much left for latter day stuff to create, hence why we have rap.
I shouldn't have said that and I apologise to those who like rap, death metal etc. Everyone to their own and I respect that.
Anyway Mr Hastings it's been cool listening to your stuff, catch you next time big ears, I've got a nap beckoning :)

My favourite ELO song, actually my favourite song of all time and on my favourite album of all time A New World record.

Jeff Lynne is my bucket list artist who i haven't had a chance to see live, he is doing his final over and out tour starting in November in the US but no other dates or countries have been added yet, i would assume he would finish up in the UK but i hold little hope that he consider Australia ( one can live in hope ). It was 1976 or 1978 the last time ELO ( the real one not part 2 ) that they were in Australia.

Keep living the dream mate. If things don't turn out at least we still have the music, and heaps of it.

A virtually forgotten song from the early 70's ( like the two i posted above ) which used to get a lot of air play on radio at the time. Sally Carr was a stunner
