Hey did anyone like the song My Baby ????

One of the FEW songs written by hardly known member Phil SMALL.....

Written about his wife. It was renowned for being the first Chisel song with Ian MOSS on lead vocal, and was the first Chisel single released in America. Guest starring musician : Joe CAMILLERI on the saxaphone....!!!! 1980 Vintage......

Forever Now : Another of the few Steve PRESTWICH lyric songs. Originally called Acapulo Piranha by PRESTWICH who developed the lyrics. 2nd single from " Circus Animals " album. Number 4 on the charts in April 1982.

Standing on the outside looking in ( Classic WALKER ) was aimed at the ( at the time ) 20 % youth unemployment in the late 1970's OZ !!!!!

Bow River totally rocks mate. one of my favourites for sure. !!!!

Written by Ian MOSS who ( like WALKER ) was in awe of Texas US Blues legends " The Fabulous Thunderbirds ", who were renowned for playing behind the beat in contrast to the Aus pub rock tradition of 4/4 on the floor. The playing of Bow River was something new and cutting edge for Chisel and Aus rock on the whole, however Chisel won the crowds over with it and it became a true crowd pleasing favourite. It used to remind me of heading down the south coast of NSW with the lads in the car, and the surf boards on the roof for the summer school holidays in the care free days. Back when how many waves, how many girls and how much piss we could consume were the priorities of life. when we went to the fishing/surfing town of Culburra ( 20 minutes east of Nowra. In order to escape the Sydney City crap. We would have it pumping, whilst we passed the bottle around amongst other things around a bonfire on the beach under the stars, and shoated the song out with passion, substituting the line back in Bow River, for back in Culburra again !!! LMAO...................

Ok 2TB, Jimmy Barnes real name is James Dixon Swan. John Swan aka Swanee is his brother http://www.swanee.com.au/ Swanee was popular back in the very early 80's but he still does the circuit!..... "Lady whats your Name" was one of his better known tunes ;-)
