Yeah, but that's taking the piss out of Dylan. Rocky racoon is gold imo.

I thought Norweign Wood was the Beatles "attempt" at a Dylan song.

You might be confusing the reference to Dylan in John Lennon's "Yer Blues" on the White Album?.

The Beatles loved Dylan. He turned them on to pot.

best double albums? Songs In the Key of Life - Stevie Wonder, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Blonde on Blonde Bob Dylan

The first double album I owned was Paul Kelly and the Coloured Girls - Gossip. With Darling It Hurts, Leaps and Bounds, Before Too Long etc.

The full version (24 songs vs the edited single cd) shows what a diverse range of styles the band could play. It was a pleasant surprise and got me interested in and prepared for a lot of other Aussie music that I may not have checked out.

I think you need to put a qualifier on this. Shouldn't include live albums, greatest hits, compilations or movie soundtracks. My top ten would be:

1 - Pink Floyd "The Wall"
2 - Bruce Springsteen "The River"
3 - Jeff Wayne "War of the Worlds" (no, this is not a movie soundtrack)
4 - The Beatles "Beatles (White Album)"
5 - Led Zeppelin "Physical Graffiti"
6 - Pink Floyd "Ummagumma"
7 - Electric Light Orchestra "Out of the Blue"
8 - Bob Dylan "Blone on Blonde"
9 - Stevie Wonder "Songs in the Key of Life"
10 - Fleetwood Mac "Tusk"
