Modern era being 1970 till present time:

I used to go to Henson Park since the days when I had to look up to see the tops of the three foot metal poles lining the hill. And my favourite Jets player was Chika FERGUSON. Loved seeing him score the winning try for the Raiders in the grand final that year as well, even though he was wearing the wrong colored jersey.

However my favourite player ( and I know it's hard to pick just one as started this darn thread now and am thinking of many ) would have been Peter STERLING with a close second Laurie DALEY.

There certainly is heaps of great players. Now thinkin of Alfie LANGER and the guts of TOOVEY for the small bloke he was. But Sterlo was a supberb footballer for sure !!!

Stacey Jones and Ruben Wiki - 2 of the greatest players to ever wear the black jersey as well as the Warriors one.

Jones and Wiki seconded.

Wiki especially. His heart must rival that horse...the one whose name is escaping me at the moment. You know the one i mean. That fast one. Damn wine.

I've always been a huge fan of The Pig.

He's got passion, aggression and strength, plus he can kick the ball.

I, for oen, was really pleased when we signed him.
