Pretty simply really.

Who are your favourite current players in the NRL that do not play for the Bulldogs.

Here's my Top 3

1) Luke Douglas - I've followed the guys career for a couple of years now. Really like the look of him, big strapping front rower who can churn out the metres. Should seriously push for rep honours next season

2)
Tom Learoyd Lahrs - Me and a mate of mine have been raving about this guy ever since he came over from Brisbane to Canberra. While he gets hurt way too often, when healthy, he is an absolute machine. One of the strongest players in the NRL imo.

3) Darren Lockyer - Champion player. One of the best I've seen. Loved him when he was at FB and didn't think he could make the 5/8th position. While he does have his moments when he struggles, still a quality player.

I like Dell too. He's probably the funniest player in the NRL. It's amazing what time does to us, I hated him when he was at the Broncos, fast forward 7 years, he returns to the Dragons last year... and I'll never forget that try he scored at the Broncos... scored, and kicks the crap out of the ball into the crowd... and love scoring against his old club. It's as if something about the Broncos pissed him off and he got redemption by scoring that try lol. I can't figure that one out though.

Luke Douglas is from God's country here in Yamba on the NSW North Coast. Voted by tourism expert as the number 1 town in Australia :)

I can tell you that he is already pushing for rep honours - he got a call from Tim Sheens, and if Brett White had pulled out with his shoulder problem Luke was going to be on the plane to the UK.

I love watching players that can do special things that no-one else can. So with that in mind I'd go for

1) Billy Slater, for his freakish try saving as well as his try scoring
2) Benji Marshall
3) Jarryd Hayne

Thats good to hear, although Douglas >>> White.

Always felt he never gets as much attention from the media as he deserves. At least it's good to know he is rated by those in the game.
